Modern day workplace requirements have changed, but office buildings have not always evolved with them. Ahrend and Jabra are teaming up to help solve this problem.

Ahrend's Qabins, equipped with our audio and video solutions, are re-shaping today’s offices. Ahrend is the European market leader in creating productive and immersive work environments. Among other things, the company makes compact, modular and acoustic boxes in which people can work and video call undisturbed while on the move, on location, or in the office. With the growth in video conferencing, Ahrend saw a considerable increase in demand for their Ahrend Qabins.

Noise and other interruptions

Surveys conducted separately by Ahrend and Jabra uncovered that employees are often dissatisfied with the facilities their employer offers. For example, Hans Kortenhorst, Vice President, Large Enterprise EMEA at Jabra suggests that 65% of employees in the Netherlands see massive room for improvement, with 80% indicating that background noise and frequent interruptions are the main problems that hinder their productivity.

Quiet qabins

Ahrend already made compact, individual workstations that provide space in the office or on the road for anyone who needs a place to work in peace and quiet. Now, their Qabins are equipped with the Speak 750 speakerphone and Jabra PanaCast or PanaCast 20 camera, depending on the model. Customers can also opt for Jabra's new PanaCast 50 - an all-in-one Video Bar System, that creates a smooth, 180-degree view in high-definition Panoramic-4K and delivers crystal-clear sound. Ahrend and Jabra offer various boxes as plug-and-play solutions, with no IT knowledge required for installation. Once implemented, this mini office is immediately ready for employees to get to work and focus on their conversation or meeting.

Natural remote conversations

Our PanaCast 50 Video Bar System ensures that individual participants in an online meeting are all equal conversation partners. One way this is achieved is through the 'Dynamic Composition' feature, in which the intelligent camera takes a close-up of the in-room participants and gives them individual-sized tiles, enabling a realistic face-to-face experience, even for remote attendees.
